Editing an animal's record requires a physical tap of that animal's own ShowStat device. Entries cannot be back-dated from a laptop, which means a weight logged in March is provably a weight logged in March. For a market project that ends in a sale, that is the difference between a record a buyer takes your word on and one they can check.
